

Mr. Dearman’s practice focuses on civil litigation. His primary areas of practice involve estate litigation, including: will caveats and contests, fiduciary litigation, power of attorney abuses, and trust disputes. He also represents clients in eminent domain claims, real estate disputes, commercial litigation, state-wide partition proceedings, and guardianships. He serves as an appointed substitute trustee for clients in consumer and commercial foreclosure proceedings.
Mr. Dearman has tried multiple jury trials to verdict, successfully won summary judgment for the challenger of a will, and successfully resolved multiple six-figure estate litigation cases. He also handles appeals in the North Carolina Appellate Courts.
Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Dearman served as an assistant district attorney for nearly three years where he tried numerous criminal cases. He has served in the United States Army Reserve.
He is a member of the Forsyth County Bar, the North Carolina Bar Association, and serves on the Board of the Forsyth County Young Lawyers Association. Mr. Dearman is a North Carolina native having grown up in Statesville,.
