N.C. Attorney Kirk Sanders taught a course at the North Carolina Bar Association’s Annual Paralegal Meeting.
His topic was POA Abuse Litigation. The course was held in Pinehurst, North Carolina on May 5, 2017. Good Q&A with a fantastic group of paralegals after the lecture. This all day seminar the paralegal division offers is great for North Carolina Paralegals.
Kirk discussed the pitfalls of powers of attorneys, warning signs, the fraud triangle, and how to litigate cases where the power of attorney has caused harm to the principal.
